Instructions for passengers with long layover in Hong Kong Airport

fly2nepal.com

Late year we advised you that Cathay Pacific no longer needs visas for Nepali passport holders in transit through Hong Kong.  Despite the numerous flights from San Francisco and Los Angeles, almost all of them have a long layover to Kathmandu - in both directions.  The Traveler’s Lounge at Hong Kong Airport is a transit facility for passengers with long layers.  For a fee, you can take a nap, eat a meal, get a shower, use the internet and take advantage of a number of other services instead of waiting long hours in the airport.  The details about the transit lounge are attached in the brochure and you can also review their website at http://www.plaza-ppl.com/hk_en/index.php. Although walk-in inquires are permitted, the Lounge advises passengers to book in advance through the website to guarantee a space.

If you have not purchased your airline tickets yet, we suggest that you also factor in the cost of the transit lounge if you are price sensitive and think you will use one of these packages.

The attached brochure has all the details but we’re providing you a summary of the important questions you might have:
