Credit Card Charges for Airline Tickets Issued in Nepal

Virtually all airlines in the US and Canada accept credit card payments. Unfortunately most airlines in Nepal still don’t accept credit cards, and we are usually required to make payments to them in cash. 

When we charge your credit card for payment in Nepal, we incur a transaction fee imposed by the credit card company. We add a 4% service fees in addition to the cost of your ticket to cover our costs. If we need to charge you this service fee, we will always inform you before we make the charge and give you alternatives to avoid the fee:

How can you avoid paying this credit card fee?

·          Deposit check/cash in our Bank of America account.

·          Make arrangements with someone in Nepal to deposit payment in our Kathmandu office.
